how I work

My approach to creating solutions to my clients’ challenges is both efficient and effective and has recently been coined as Design Thinking.

Design Thinking can be described as a discipline that uses the designer’s sensibility and methods to match people’s needs with what is technologically feasible and what a viable business strategy can convert into customer value and market opportunity.

Process
When you work with me, the first thing you will notice is my pace. I am not hurried and I spend a lot of time listening while the essence of the problem/challenge unfolds. There is a method to what seems to be madness to my clients in the beginning. I do this for two reasons:

1. I must understand where you are within the stages of business development.

3.Environment Creation

4.Information Creation

5.Communication Implementation

2. I must also understand what projects must be planned, consulted on or managed for successful completion of whatever stages are incomplete.

Project
The Project is the vehicle that carries a solution from idea to concept to reality. Each challenge we identify is turned into a design thinking project with a clear objective, as well as, beginning and end date.

Planning | Consulting | Management
Once I’ve thoroughly defined the project, I begin the process of either planning the solution, consulting on the plan that is already in place or managing the implementation of your plan. This is when the solution starts to come to life. I’ll explore several options for how the final solution will work. Initial concepts will be presented to you for review and discussion.

Collaborate, refine and expand
We focus on a single problem at one time, design a solution, refine it, and expand it across all of the key deliverables of Desirability, Viability and Feasibility!

Build
Once the solution has been refined and finalized, all of the final components are created, whether they are a complete project plan, recommended adjustments to a plan or the implementation schedule for the management of the plan.
